Meet Your Expert Presenters 

Dr. Raymond J Tseng, DDS, PhD As owner of the North Carolina Tie Center and Chair of ICAP’s board of directors, Dr. Tseng brings seven years of dedicated clinical research in tethered oral tissues (TOTs). His NIH-funded background and leadership in the Committee for Interprofessional Research, Education and Ankyloglossia Science (CIREAS) positions him as a leading voice in evidence-based tongue-tie research. 

Dr. Sharon Smart, PhD A distinguished Senior Lecturer at Curtin University’s Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Smart’s expertise spans ankyloglossia, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and pediatric dysphagia. Her award-winning teaching and research contributions have shaped international understanding of tongue-tie management and interdisciplinary care approaches.
